New York Mets future?
What do you see of this team in the near future? I know making the playoffs this year is a long shot. But, they still have a lot of talent on their team.
David Wright- Former all-star
Jose Reyes- Former all-star
Carlos Beltran- former all-star
Jason Bay- former all-star
Angel Pagan- future all-star
Ike Davis- Future all-star
Josh Thole- show a lot of potential
Johan Santana- Cy Young award winner
Mike Pelfrey- won 15 games last year
R.A. Dickey- did really good
Jonathan Niese- could be really good in the future
K-Rod- has the record for most saves in a season
and an all-star front office
So will they be a playoff contender with in the next few years?

New York mets predictions?
Personally, i think the mets get the sh!t together and almost make the playoffs through wildcard. This is what i predict for the Lineup, pitching staff, etc NO SPECIFIC ORDER..
1. SS Jose Reyes (not going to be traded)- .297, 15 HRs, 66 RBI, 46 SBs
2. Dan Murphy gets the 2B spot, .284, 11 HR, 55 RBI
3. David Wright- .328, 35 HRs, 128 RBI, 21 SBs
4. Beltran- .277, 19 HRs, 88 RBI 18 SB
5. Bay- .281, 22 HRs, 89 RBI 7 SB
6. Ike Davis- .274, 26 HRs, 88 RBI 3 SB
7. Josh Thole- .312, 12 HRs, 71 RBI
8. Pagan- .288, 22 HRs, 84 RBI, 35 SB
Pitching:
1. Big Pelf- 16-9, 3.81 ERA
2. Johan (when he returns) 12-4, 2.95 ERA (Chris Capuano will replace him)
3. Dickey- 13-7, 3.55 ERA
4. Chris Young- 14-7, 3.78 ERA
5. Niese- 11-9, 3.92 ERA
