Strong Single Mothers and Pregnant Single Women…?

I recently found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant. Though it was not planned, it is welcomed. I am 26, and have a Bachelor’s and am enrolled to get my Master’s in the Spring. I NEVER thought I would be a single mom, especially if it wasn’t the result of a divorce or death. But here I have found myself facing probably the most challenging choice I will ever make. The partner (who I have already decided I will not pursue in any way) wanted an abortion and has verbally tore me down for wanting to keep my child. The furthest thing was to keep HIM, but I knew from the moment I saw the two lines on the HPT that I was ready to be a mom. Well anyway, the last week has been an emotional roller coaster. I haven’t told anyone but my best friend who is also 7 1/2 months pregnant. And I am dreading having to tell my parents (who’ve been married 30 years) that they will be having their first grand baby by the 4th of July. Though this situation is far from ideal, I hold onto the conviction that even though the MAN I created this child with was not the “right” person, that doesn’t make the child wrong. So, that is what is keeping me strong in continuing the pregnancy. I just wanted to share this…I know it’s not a question but I would love to hear any of your personal accounts if this APPLIES to you. If it doesn’t—I don’t honestly think you can empathize, which would only leave you to judge and this is the wrong post for you to be on. God Bless~

Am I pregnant UPDATED!?

I have a very regular cycle, My period comes on the exact 28th day of my cycle. I have had unprotected sex for quite a while now however nothing had happened so I thought why stop now. In February, I got on my birth control pills (Yasmin) I have no insurance so I would pay full price for them. I had a very stressful job and decided to quit as I do have financial support from my boyfriend, which we live together. However, I decided in May that I wasn’t going to buy the pills because I left my job and I didn’t want to pay for the pills when I was out work at that time I didn’t ask my bf because I simply didn’t care not because he wouldn’t have paid for them . Last Month I thought I wasn’t going to see my period but I was wrong on my 28th day it came. I am only a day late now but I don’t know if my body can make such a change from my normal cycle. I started doing a little research on maybe not so obvious symptoms like morning sickness and such. I read that dizziness, headaches, constipation, frequent urination, can be all early signs of pregnancy. I have all of those signs. I know that I could take a pregnancy test however I don’t know if it also maybe to early to detect. I start thinking that maybe I am just late this month but that never happens besides by now I would have also seen breakouts, and terrible cramps and I have absolutely none. Could I be pregnant? Additional Details1 hour agoIncase your wondering… I do have a job now! I mean It was only because I left my old I have Bachelor in Accounting and I am a Controllers Assistant for a Law Firm. We both drive brand new cars and hold savings account. I chose to stop on the pill and could have gone back on it. Besides, we do like the idea of having a child is not like If I am I will consider abortion it just wasn’t exactly in our plans.

Pregnant student needs help!?

I just found out I’m pregnant. I will be finished with my bachelors hopefully before the baby is born. I applied for medicaid, food stamps, and was told I may barely qualify for even medicaid. I am extremely poor and I’m trying to finish my education. I thought there would be more help for me, but if I can’t even qualify for food stamps….. Please help me. I live in Texas.

I had a one night stand on vacation & now I’m pregnant?

I’m on vacation at the beach and I meet this guy. We had sex, and then I found out he was married. So I wanted nothing to do with him and left before I could get his last name. I know his first name, where he went to school, his marital status (obviously) and the room number and hotel he was staying at while he was at his friends bachelor party. The problem is I am pregnant and I have no idea how to tell him, or how to get in touch with him. It seems virtually impossible because not only can’t I find him, but if I did find him I would not want to ruin his marriage (If I haven’t already) And if you could possibly answer this question without judging me for sleeping with a married man that would be great as I didn’t know and feel bad enough already. Thank you for any input!
