Why do so many Americans judge Muslims based only on the actions of the 9/11 hijackers?

Yes, the 9/11 hijackers were Muslims.

Also: Adolf Hitler was a Catholic Christian. Timothy McVeigh was a Protestant Christian.

This generalization that Americans do, when it comes to Muslims, is thoroughly unfair. It would be as if I gave an entire class of my students the grade earned by the LOWEST-performing student in that class.

The lecture was sponsored by the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum and The Historical Society of the Tenth Judicial Circuit.
