Timothy McVeigh 1992 letter to Buffalo newspaper. Written 3 years before OKC bombing?

Crime is so out of control. Criminals have no fear of punishment. Prisons are overcrowded so they know they will not be imprisoned long. This breeds more crime, in an escalating cyclic pattern.

Taxes are a joke. Regardless of what a political candidate “promises,” they will increase. More taxes are always the answer to government mismanagement. They mess up. We suffer. Taxes are reaching cataclysmic levels, with no slowdown in sight.

The “American Dream” of the middle class has all but disappeared, substituted with people struggling just to buy next week’s groceries. Heaven forbid the car breaks down!

Politicians are further eroding the “American Dream” by passing laws which are supposed to be a “quick fix,” when all they are really designed for is to get the official re-elected. These laws tend to “dilute” a problem for a while, until the problem comes roaring back in a worsened form (much like a strain of bacteria will alter itself to defeat a known medication).

Politicians are out of control. Their yearly salaries are more than an average person will see in a lifetime. They have been entrusted with the power to regulate their own salaries, and have grossly violated that trust to live in their own luxury.

Racism on the rise? You had better believe it! Is this America’s frustrations venting themselves? Is it a valid frustration? Who is to blame for the mess? At a point when the world has seen communism falter as an imperfect system to manage people; democracy seems to be headed down the same road. No one is seeing the “big” picture.

Maybe we have to contribute ideologies to achieve the perfect utopian government. Remember, government-sponsored health care was a communist idea. Should only the rich be allowed to live long? Does that say that because a person is poor, he is a lesser human being; and doesn’t deserve to live as long, because he doesn’t wear a tie to work?

What is it going to take to open the eyes of our elected officials? America is in serious decline!

We have no proverbial tea to dump, should we instead sink a ship full of Japanese imports? Is a Civil War Imminent? Do we have to shed blood to reform the current system? I hope it doesn’t come to that. But it might.

Jose Reyes to miss 3 weeks. Where have I heard this before?

David Wright’s injury started as back soreness, and all he needed was one day off. But then he got MRI’s and it revealed a tare in his back. They said 3 weeks at most for him, and a month and a half later he’s just starting rehab.

Ike Davis’ injury just started off as a day-to-day thing and then they put him on the DL just to be safe. He was only supposed to serve the 15 days on the DL and come off, but then they kept pushing it back. They said he’d be out for at least 3 more weeks, and 3 weeks later, they said 3 more weeks, and now he might miss the rest of the season.

Jose’s injury started as a slight strain in his hamstring and was day-to-day. He could’ve played Tuesday, and then they pushed it back to Wednesday, and then they said Friday, and then Saturday, and then after the all-star break, and now 3 weeks.

Meanwhile, Albert Pujols was excpected to miss 6-8 weeks, and is back in 2.

I am so fed up with these injuries to this god damn f u cking team. They start out as minor injuries that they could miss at most a few games with, an they turn out to be season ending injuries. The doctors and training staff suck, and it seems like they just guess 3 weeks for everybody.

See you next Spring Training Jose! Thanks for the great year!

Is it only a matter of time before we get another Timothy McVeigh?

The right-wingers are pissed. You’ve seen them.

We’ve already had a white supremacist (Von Brunn) shoot up a jewish holocaust museum and kill a black guard. He was one of those birthers who believed the jews made Obama president.

We’ve had that guy from Pitsburg (Richard Poplawski) who bought all these guns because he thought it was only a matter of time before Obama would ban guns. When his momma tried to kick him out and brought the cops, he killed three of them.

There was the “I hate liberals” (Jim David Adkisson) murderer who killed several people at a Unitarian Church and who had all these books from Rush Limbaugh, Bill OReilly, and Sean Hannity in his house.

There was the recent murder of an abortion doctor. There was the murder of the Arkansas Democratic Chairman by a guy he never met. I wonder why he picked him.

There are the handful of cases of loons trying to walk up to the white house with guns. I find it suprising the media barely paid attention.

The right-wing violence from the 1990s is coming back again now that we have another Democrat as president. Do you fear we will have another Timothy McVeigh soon?
eir,

Left-wing violence? Really. How many people were killed? How many people were killed recently by left-wing extremists in America? How many by right-wing extremists?

Why do Dems curse Repubs for Patriot Act when Biden wrote a similar law BEFORE the OK City bombing in ’95?

Why do voters persist in seeing two radically different mindsets given near identical track-records by both parties?

“…months before the Oklahoma City bombing took place, Biden introduced another bill called the Omnibus Counterterrorism Act of 1995. It previewed the 2001 Patriot Act by allowing secret evidence to be used in prosecutions, expanding the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and wiretap laws, creating a new federal crime of “terrorism” that could be invoked based on political beliefs, permitting the U.S. military to be used in civilian law enforcement, and allowing permanent detection of non-U.S. citizens without judicial review. The Center for National Security Studies said the bill would erode “constitutional and statutory due process protections” and would “authorize the Justice Department to pick and choose crimes to investigate and prosecute based on political beliefs and associations.”

Biden himself draws parallels between his 1995 bill and its 2001 cousin. “I drafted a terrorism bill after the Oklahoma City bombing. And the bill John Ashcroft sent up was my bill,” he said when the Patriot Act was being debated, according to the New Republic, which described him as “the Democratic Party’s de facto spokesman on the war against terrorism.”

Biden’s chronology is not accurate: the bombing took place in April 1995 and his bill had been introduced in February 1995. But it’s true that Biden’s proposal probably helped to lay the groundwork for the Bush administration’s Patriot Act.”

Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt. Why don’t we accept that Dem’s and Repubs are the same actors in slightly different make-up?

===================

Guys, for the record… the Patriot Act is an atrocious onslaught against Liberties but Biden’s act is just as bad.

The point is clear: The Parties Are One and the SAME.
