why are they the first to support spying on Americans without warrants, putting cameras in all public places, and increasing government intrustion into our every day lives?
Whatever happened to the fear of the “New World Order” and 1984 scenario?
When Clinton was president, it was the in thing to believe in for anti-government right-wingers like Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols. They believed it was all part of the socialist “New World Order” and that Clinton had death squads out assasinating people.
Senator Reid and Southern Poverty Law Center founder Morris Dees held a press conference call highlighting the prevalence of hate groups in Nevada and expressing concern at the reckless Republican spending plan (HR 1) to gut the FBI — the agency that monitors hate groups — by $133 million. The Southern Poverty Law Center has identified 15 hate groups currently operating in Nevada — from Neo-Nazis to white supremacists. The FBI in Nevada is tasked to aggressively investigate and work to prevent things like hate crimes and human trafficking.
…Especially since some conservatives like G. Gordon Liddy has told people branch davidian compound cult people and others when shooting at government agency agents to “shoot for the head since they wear bulletproof vests” and especially since some conservatives have said Timothy McVeigh had good reasons for his terrorist actions?
Or especially since people like the militias have had plans to shoot the police and then shoot more cops at the funerals of the cops, the militia people originally want to shoot first?
