Do you think people who were bullied in school and at home end up being bullies when they grow up?

I saw the Timothy McVeigh tapes on MSNBC. It was very interesting. McVeigh was badly bullied in school. But, as a soldier in Iraq, he had problems with the fact that he had become the bully. He had some major post traumatic stress as a result. He just had problems with the fact that he killed not only Iraqi troops, but he also had killed regular people in Iraq, as did many troops because war is messy. So what happened? McVeigh comes home and has PTSD and then ends up becoming the ultimate bully by bombing civilians in Oklahoma City. It’s all quite confusing. So, do the bullied usually end up becoming bullies or do they speak out against bullies when they become older?

Why are Americans afraid to say “Far Right or Far Left Extremist”, other countries call it what it is?

For example just Google Timothy McVeigh or look in our kids history books…no references to the fact he was a Far Right extremist. They use the word “militia movement” “anti-Government” and other such “politically correct” nonsense.

Take the Wikipedia in English and there is no mention McVeigh was a Far Right Extremist. But look at other countries version of the same page. You will see the words “rechtsextremen Hintergrund ” or “Far Right Background” in the German version of Wiki and other German Encyclopedias and School Text books. If anyone knows a Far Right Background they would since they lived under Hitler for one thing and who they call a Far Right Radical. Yet here many on the Right in America, call him a lefty. I’d take the Germans words on Hitler any day over an American who wasn’t there and didn’t live through it. It is taught as such in German schools as well as all European schools . Yet here they do not use these terms. There is no worry of “political correctness” about it except for here in the States. Same goes for the Uni-bomber, a Left Wing Radical. So why can’t Americans accept what is as what is?

Germans can teach us a good lesson, as history is bound to repeat itself if it is not taught correctly and if we start calling a Right Wing Extremist’s like McVeigh a “militia movement” person as Wiki does as well as other American Encyclopedias do, when all the world calls him for what he really was…. A Right Wing Radical, then are we sure to repeat the same errors over again? Do you think Americans are ready to call it for what it is?
Is it just too politically correct to call a spade a spade these days?

Can we close Gitmo just a little faster and get those guys back here in the USA?

http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idUSN2447383520090924

The guy in the article referenced above will probably want to share a cell with one of them. Maybe they can teach him some better ways to accomplish his goal of blowing up a Federal Building

Wow!
Is this one of those Timothy McVeigh wannabes MarkH in his question below was asking about “Is it just a matter of time before we get another angry, conservative, Timothy McVeigh blowing up a federal building?”

Why is this not being called a Terrorist Attack that took place on Fort Hood?

Where is the outrage?. How can we not call it what it is when our brave men are being killed on their own soil!. When in history was this ever ok to look over this and give it no justice by ignoring the tile it deserves! ?

Obama tells us to not rush to judge this situation, that means to me his first gut reaction is to take up for the Muslims once again.

Timothy McVeigh was called a Terrorist than why not this man?, Timothy McVeigh didn’t write about Muslims or killing our soldiers online like this terrorist did.

For the family and countries sake this needs to be called for what it really is!. How weak will America become if we allow Muslims to start killing our Soldiers on our own soil, then get away with it by playing the PTSS card?.
Hey Scott B, I have read the facts, and what this guy wrote online, and how the FBI even has been following him for 6 months!. Do you know any of this?. This could have been avoided. He even was promoted after the knowledge of what he had been writing online. Those who are ignoring this, is doing so simply because their is an agenda involved in their procrastination to label it for what it really is. Now go be a true American.
Some of you guys are idiots. What he wrote online is what seperates this from just a work place incident. You cannot take the man for what came out of his own mouth.

As for believing our own soldier could be a terrorist, well he was never really one of us was he? for what he wrote online, that tells where his loyalty was. And you don’t think a Muslim would purposely place themselves in the military to commit such an act?. What do you think the pilots did that flew into the twin towers?, gosh it takes a house wife to wise up you fools. BTW I am not married to a soldier, I am just awake unlike you.
THANK YOU WILCO, FINALLY SOMEONE WITH A BRAIN. LETS JUST HOPE THIS TERRORIST WAKES UP SO HE CAN TELL YOU ONCE AGAIN WITH HIS OWN WORDS, BECAUSE WE KNOW HOW THEY LOVE TO TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS EVIL DEED.
