Why when I talk about extremist Muslims do liberals/atheists always bring up….?

Why whenever I bring up extremists Muslims do atheists bring up the Crusades, the Inquisition, and Timothy McVeigh?

When I was talking about Muslims killing 3000 people on 9/11 a liberal brought up the Crusades, which happened hundreds of years ago, as some sort of refutation of what happened on 9/11.

When I bring up Muslims terrorists I always hear “But what about Timothy McVeigh?” as if though that one person totally balances out the millions upon millions of terrorists that there are in Islam.

I am looking at the event going on in Afghanistan right now in response to the Quran burning by the Florida pastor in the USA. When I bring this up liberals bring up the Salem witch trials, I am not sure why or how they’re relevant.

Why when liberals/atheists are defending Muslim terrorists do they always bring up things that happened many decades if not centuries ago at the hands of Christians? It’s like me trying to disparage all Egyptians because of the things they did to the Jews thousands of years ago. It’s just about as relevant.

Is there anything Christians, Jews, or Hindus have done on the order of 9/11 in the past 5 years? 10 years? 25 years? 50 years?

BTW- I am not a Christian, Jew, Hundu, Buddhist or anything. I can just see Islam for what it is.

Are American militias filled mostly with liberals or republicans?

I know that Timothy mcveigh was in a militia and he was very conservative in his thinking, do most right wing militiamen want to blow up our Federal buildings?

http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Justice/2010/0331/Could-the-Hutaree-militia-have-spawned-a-Timothy-McVeigh

Kim, I believe King George was a conservative and I’m not talkign about Bush, he was obviously a liberal. :-)
Yes we can, I understand the truth hurts.
November, I appreciate your honesty, you are a good Republican Christian who advocates the killing of American babies, at least you have the balls to say it where as your brothers hide behind excuses.
Rob, here’s a quote you should familiarize your self with, real American soldiers have to state this… I promise to defend this nation against enemies both foreign and domestic… In short, I don’t care which terrorist group you support , the domestic ones are no different than the ones across the water.
Barry, the bloods and the crips don’t care about this nation and we all no that, they are thugs and they are open about how they feel but at least they don’t run around with a U.S. flag on their chest, singing God Bless America on one hand and then plotting to blow up our soldiers and agents on the other… you guys do that.

Knowing how well some Conservatives react to fear did Big Insurance use them by Lies and Misinformation?

Seeing that some far right Conservatives have a history of reacting out of irrational Fear instead of reason, did big Insurance and Big Pharma take this into consideration when they hatched their plots to stop health care reform?

History has shown that some Conservatives will go to extremes with their fears and paranoia. Some like Timothy McVeigh blew up a Federal Building fearing the Government would take over his life. Timothy McVeigh was a good example of the extreme Far Right and how paranoia and fear can lead to bad decisions.

How can Democrats now try to show some them that the fears are nothing but lies and misinformation? Could passing Health Care Reform be the perfect way to help them?

After the Democrats pass Health Insurance
Reform , and none of the terrible things that the opposition said would happen, do, would you predict that within a year most of those will see that their fears were unfounded?

Could it’s passing be in effect, a form of therapy for those people? Could Democrats say that they helped these people overcome their fears? Should Democrats and others on the Left reach out to help these people and pass the Bill?

Besides the Tea Party, can you name others who would fight to break up a government they disagree with?

Here are a few notable examples to consider:

Ted Kaczynski- “The Unabomber” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Kaczynski

Timothy McVeigh- Oklahoma City bombing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_McVeigh

Adolf Hitler- Beer Hall Putsch http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/GERbeer.htm

Vladimir Lenin- Bolshevik Party Revolution http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Revolution_%281917%29

“I hope that’s not where we’re going, but you know if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying my goodness what can we do to turn this country around? I’ll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out.”
–Sharron Angle, Republican candidate for Senate and Tea Party endorsee

… Second Amendment remedies. Frightening.
Any thoughts are welcome.
Our Founding Fathers designed their own government and didnt rebel against themselves with threats of violence.
