Because history is repeating itself. Americans want to sympathize with the jews, and don’t realize that they are acting exactly like Hitler now. Remember how they started generalizing all jews in Germany, how they slowly became this sort of unhuman scab and then, miraculously, lost all jobs and couldn’t get jobs becuase of their religion? That’s happening now. It wouldn’t surprise me if concentration camps were built for us, but much worse. Americans are inhumane animals only out for their own benefit. People rather judge one religion/nationality after one person’s mistake. Nowadays, people assume things rather than knowing the person for who they are. Many muslims go through alot because they are discriminated, not respected.
I don’t think it’s just Muslims who are stereotyped. I think we’ve all been stereotyped at one point or another. I mean – I see a lot of people stereotyping Christians and atheists here. I’ve noticed a lot of people will stereotype whole countries based on their government. We stereotype homosexuals, people of different ethnic backgrounds, and people of various colors.
I almost wonder if it’s just human nature because our brains are wired to match like with like so we can process information. For many they may generalize without even realizing their doing it.

You have made a good point. And one answer is that not all people do. However, you as well as many people, confuse (people) in Muslim countries with Islam. The problem lies within Islam-not people . Islam must confront this issue. Probably (most) Muslims are Muslim (Mohammedan) because they have no choice. It is the religion and the Koran that is wrong. And of course those who are dedicated to it.
There are millions of non-Muslim people here and abroad that want peace with you, but they realize that they can not have peace as long as Islam controls even one person. It’s not any one person behind this way of thinking. There’ve been multiple acts of terrorism, happening in multiple countries. It’s a trend.
That’s not to excuse people who stereotype a billion people based on the actions of a few hundred, but that’s where this kind of thinking comes from.
