Probably. Look, the majority of the religious right (which is the group that produced people like McVeigh, Rudolph, and the Unibomber) are just ordinary people who have been manipulated. The hard-core of fanatics who fashioned this twisted Christianity are another matter. When they sense that their narrow-minded fanaticism isn’t working, some will become violent.
So you can expect the reliigous right to produce a wave of domestic terrorism when the Democrats take over the White House. Just remember that, obnoxious as they are, its NOT the average religious conservative. Don’t fall prey to the same kind of hat and bigotry that hat they have directed against Muslims because of a few criminal fanatics.
That is not even realistic! Mayb we’ll see more angry black males if Obama is elected or more angry Democratic males if McCain is elected? What does one have to do withthe other? People are angry at the system – society- not a political party – if what you are suggesting were true, then maybe this explains all of the school shootings we are experiencing with G W Bush in office?
Sick minds and hatred appear from anywhere and at any time. Either our psychiatrists, teachers, parents and law enforcers fail to spot them, or they fail to prevent them from harming themselves and others. It has very little to do with who happens to be President.
At least (and at last) we are gathering what intelligence is out there and getting it into a database that will help the federal government and licensed firearms dealers to prevent the sale of guns to those who have been judged mentally incompetent. This involves freeing up case records that mental health agencies have protected as “private”.

I dont believe that will spark violence, but, national id cards, and the deliberate deconstruction of our constitution will. there are new laws in place that limit your free speech and you can be labeled a threat to security for speaking out against our government polices and leaders. at what point did the founding fathers say ENOUGH!
