Yes, we must continue to understand and be accepting – and modify our behavior when required by our shortcomings – upon being educated by Muslim, Anarchist, Eco-terrorist, Weatherman or trade union violence. Those educational moments are in great abundance!
But if a bourgeois middle-aged tax-payer makes a peep against Health-Care Deform, they are demonstrably capable of violence against Social Justice, and must be infiltrated and watched. Especially if they take off their shirts. That would be suspicious. It would also help if one of their teabagger friends are black, because that would be ample evidence of the insidious nature of the teabagger/Libertarian/Conservative ideology – and it would be robbing us Democrats of one of our captive constituents. We can’t tolerate black people leaving the plantation!
Seriously, there have been more than a few wishful thinkers out there, or plain nincompoops like Bloomberg, who really believe the Tea Party types are rabid and violent. And if just one among them does something awful, the whole movement will be demonized and held responsible by liberals.
I suppose if I were a wimpy RINO or liberal Democat politician, I would feel threatened too. After all, thanks to the Teabaggers, I’m likely to be out of a job this November.
