Is this true about death row inmate’s last request?

They can get any meal they want.

So the serial killers and people like timothy McVeigh can get all the food they want , while good people are starving in other countries. a the taxpayers expense?

Each prison system has its own rules and procedures. In my state, an inmate scheduled to be executed is isolated from other prisoners and eats meals for the last couple weeks in his cell, but the menu is whatever is being served in the regular prison cafeteria. If you are asking if that is true in every prison in the world, the answer is no.

  2. i think their selections are limited. having any meal they want would be a little too much.

  3. Actions have consequences

Really? This bothers you? Someone is being killed, and you’re worrying about taking food from starving people? Do you know what a typical last dinner is? Usually something like roast beef, or meatloaf. Sometimes it’s Chicken Nuggets. It’s a normal meal, nothing special. For god’s sake, it’s one meal, get over it.

  4. It depends on the state. Florida mandates that the food must be local with a total bill of no more than $40.00.

That’s not much, but someone that’s used to prison food for decades should be grateful.
