I was born in 1986 and remember many events of my childhood such as the OJ Simpson Trial and the Oklahoma City Bombing. I also remember many of the TV shows and some of the music videos because I had a TV in my room. Do they really think kids don’t watch television?

I agree! I also still remember lies that my parents told me when I was like, 4.
there is many things i remember and many things i forgot
My family is the opposite. They expect me to remember things that happened before I was born or the year I was born.
Argument between me and my aunt.
“I bought you your diapers, remember?!”
“Um, actually, no.”
“What?! I always bought you diapers, how could you not remember?”
“I was 1.”
“You’re just ungrateful”
True story.
i was born in 92′ and I watched the OJ Simpson trial updates on tv with my mom…i remember alot of other stuff too. not everyone has selective memory
I have a lot of extremely random flashbacks from when I was little haha like
- when i was seven and we had to feed my neighbors cats so we went through his backyard and i tripped over a wood log, and my dad took me home.
-when i was in first grade and a girl drew all over my picture and i told her her and my teacher put white out on it, and then i couldnt draw over it so i got all upset.
-in first grade i thought i lost my favorite headband and i went up to my teacher saying “i lost my headband” and then five minutes later i realized it was around my neck.
-in forth grade i remember my teacher climbing on the counter and he said “kids, dont do this at home.”
- in 3rd grade when my teacher told me i had a freckle right below my eye, and for some reason that made me tear up (not that it was sad, just because i used to tear up when someone starts talking about eyes… its so weirrddd)
and like, a lot more that happen everyday haha
