Why are people in such an uproar about a Muslim mosque being put near the World Trade Center site?

Is it because the terrorists that bombed the World Trade Center was “Muslim” and it might offend the victims?

What about the Christian terrorist, Timothy Mcveigh? Why is it ok to put a Christian church near that Oklahoma city bombing site that killed all those people?
What about sites where the KKK committed genocide in the name of Christianity? Should we also churches to be built near there? Wouldnt it offend the people they killed?

  1. Good question.

  2. Facts are like kryptonite to right wing hypocrites.

    Yes.

What about the Christian terrorist, Timothy Mcveigh? Why is it ok to put a Christian church near that Oklahoma city bombing site that killed all those people?

    Your comparison is ridiculous.

Timothy Mcveigh didn’t act in the name of Christianity or did he belong to any radical christian terrorist groups. His hatred for the U.S Government was basically his own that grew in anger over the U.S Governments handling of the Branch Davidian massacre.

Give me a list of organized Christian terrorist groups that exist around the world that can be compared in terms of organization and funding, to that of Muslim terrorist group such as an Al-Queda, Hezbollah, or Muslim Brotherhood?

  4. Timothy McVeigh was actually an ex-Christian who converted to atheism. He left his church.

  5. you lesberals obviously have not read the reports about what is gonna take place there.

It will be an anchor. One Imam said ” a foothold”.
Why you libbers don’t just join up and quit pussyfootin around is beyond me.

pick a side dammit and lets get ready to rumble————–!!!

  6. DUH! Mcveigh was obviously no Christian and he did not bomb the Murrah Federal Building because of his religious beliefs. Besides, you Liberals made it illegal to build a Christian Church on U.S Federal Government Owned Land, Remember?

Wakey wakey little liberal, time to smell the coffee!

  7. It is because the cleric that is heading the project has some radical ideas that are similar to those who bombed the WTC. This man believes that it is possible to enact Sharia law in the U.S. and bypass our American legal system.

When the terrorist bombed the WTC they were doing it as an act of their religion. When Timothy McVeigh bombed the federal building in OKC he was not doing it as an act of religion. For one to claim that this was an act of Christianity, they would first have to prove that Timothy McVeigh was a Christian.

The Christian Bible says “Thou shall not kill”
The Koran says Kill the infidels.

It is more than just the family members of the WTC bombing who are offended.

  8. don’t blame the people, they believe every thing that the governments says, so blame the government for hypnotizing the people and make them full of bad ideas about the Islam .
and yah “osamah ben laden ” is not Muslim it not even a real person it just a plan to conquer the oil sources in the world, and i don’t mean the us government i mean the real government that control the world ” Masonic government ” , its time to walk up people…….
In Islam we not allowed to harm a child, woman or even cut a tree in the time of War , I’m a Muslim and I’ll telling you “alQaedeh” not Muslims, they are hired killers,We Muslims worship the same God worshiped by Christians and Jews and we believe in Jesus and Moses, so how can we kill them in cold blood like “alQaedeh”.
i say it again “alQaedeh” is not Muslims…….

  9. I’d answer this question honestly, but I’d have an easier time teaching a blind man to bite the head off a live rattlesnake without getting a cheekful of venom than I’d have of convincing a bunch of Drama Queen Party liberals that the families of the victims of 9/11 deserve at least some reverence and respect in this world.

Fvck the idea of a mosque near the WTC site. I’m sorry if that offends some feel-good liberals who want everyone to love them. Fvck the idea of a mosque near a place where Muslims wreaked some of the most heinous destruction in world history.

  10. KKK was never Christian. They were and still are a satanic organization. Christians don’t burn crosses and blow up churches. McVeigh was an atheist.

    Try again, dummycrat.

  11. saynotobumparents

Why don’t you export yourself to a muslim country you morally bankrupt psychopath.
Islam and their mosques represent submission and world domination. Did you hear any muslims apologize for what their fellow muslims did after 9/11? No – they were dancing in the streets. How much do you think it costs your country America to police terrorists and unpatriotic people who are a threat to your freedoms? Why do you think they can’t catch Bin Laden? It is because all the muslim nations protect him. They agree with 9/11. Muslims see themselves as the nation of Islam and are working towards world dominance. That’s why they aren’t allow citizenship in Saudi Arabia because they have been sent out to conquer the world by stealth.
Timothy McVeigh was acting alone. What the hell has the KKK got to do with terrorism. The KKK are a small group of mentally ill people and are not a world wide terrorist group who fly planes into buildings or disrupt the economy by blowing up planes or themselves and other people world wide.
A patriotic lawyer needs to get to work to have that building permit revoked as it is an insult to the victims of 9/11.

  12. Klaatu barada nikto

Get Real !!!! — McVeigh was one nutjob who acted once

Al Qaeda is an organization that butchered 3,000 people on 9/11 and are still sworn to slaughter every single American to this day.

I am a retired Detective who survived 9/11 rescuing many people although the fact that I worked at Ground Zero for 18 months following 9/11 has resulted in my having emphysema which the Government is doing nothing for.

Show some respect for the people who died that terrible day as you undoubtedly cowered under a desk 100 + miles away pissing your panties.

It is a disgrace & a dishonor to the 3,000 people who were slaughtered on 9/11 to erect a Muslim Mosque honoring these Muslim Murderers and making a mockery of the death of all of those Americans.

Anyone suggesting otherwise should be ashamed.

Islam is a religion which at best advocates marrying ” child brides ” which Muslims still do today like Muhammed did when he married his second wife, Aisha, when he was 50 years old & she was 6 years old.
Muslims also engage in ” Honor Killing ” where they kill teenage girls who ” dishoboe ” their familiies as the Muslim Father did in Texas when he murdered his 2 teenage daughters.

    Muslims are all about death.

A Gallows , not a Mosque, should be erected representing Muslims

  13. America was settled, in large part, by members of persecuted religions. For example, Massachusetts was founded Pilgrims, Connecticut by Puritans, Maryland by Catholics, Pennsylvania by Quakers and German denominations such aDrunkardsand Mennonites. The Scots-Irish from Ulster, who settled the Pennsylvania, Virginia, & Carolinas Appalachian borderlands, were Presbyterians fleeing the oppressive Penal Laws imposed by the ruling elitists of the Church of England cult. Jews fleeing pogroms were among the early settlers of Rhode Island. This colony was stablished by Roger Williams upon a basis of toleration for persons of all shades of religious belief, and Rhode Island welcomed Jews, who arrived there in 1658. he Jewish settlement in Georgia dates almost from the very foundation of the colony; and the early history of Georgia is practically the history of the growth and development of Savannah, Jewish life centering in that city. It would appear that a movement was set on foot in London to settle some Jews in the colony even before James Oglethorpe, in June, 1733, led his first band of followers to the point which soon after became the city of Savannah. The second vessel which reached the colony from England (on July 11, 1733) had among its passengers no less than forty Jewish emigrants. Though their arrival was unexpected, the liberal-minded governor welcomed them gladly, notwithstanding that he was aware that the trustees of the colony in England had expressed some opposition to permitting Jews to settle there. These first settlers were all of Spanish, Portuguese, and Prussian extraction, though within a year of their arrival others, who were apparently German Jews, also took up their residence there. These two bands of settlers received equally liberal treatment from Oglethorpe, and were the progenitors of one of the most important communities of Jews in the U.S. Many of their descendants are still living in various parts of the country. The first male white child born in the Georgia colony was a Jew, Philip Minis on July 11, 1734. The liberal charter which John Locke drew up in 1669 for the governance of the Carolinas should have operated to attract Jews there at an early date, since “Jews, heathen, and dissenters” were by the terms of Locke’s charter granted full liberty of conscience. Though political changes modified Locke’s original plans considerably, the spirit of tolerance was always retained. Nevertheless no Jews in any numbers appear to have come to South Carolina until the exodus from Georgia from 1740 to 1771, already referred to. However, one Simon Valentine, one of four Jews who applied for citizenship in 1697, became the first documented Jewish landowner, which entitled him to vote.
Thus, with this early record of religious tolerance, America became the “Promised Land” for those fleeing religious persecution. Finally, the First Amendment’s The Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause together read, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”
Thus, given the above historical and legal backgrounds of the rights of Americans to freely worship according to their own personal beliefs, it is un-American to protest the establishment of mosques, Islamic centers, madrasahs, etc., whereever and whenever the Muslims see fit to do so.
In closing, consider these words by Voltaire, speaking of Pennsylvania’s founder Wm. Penn, “The new sovereign also enacted several wise and wholesome laws for his colony, which have remained invariably the same to this day. The chief is, to ill–treat no person on account of religion, and to consider as brethren all those who believe in one God.”
