Timothy McVeigh…Is He As Much As A Villan Today As He Was Back In `95 ?

The vast majority of Americans could not fathom Tim`s anger and subsequent actions against the federal government in Oklahoma in `95. Is that majority towing the same numbers ? Is there a growing number of Americans that can now see what made him do it ?
Ooops….Silly me…”As much OF …”
Why do so many of you think “villan” pertains to living entities exclusively ? Hitler is dead…Hitler is/was…Geez….
Why can`t you people think “past tense” ???!!!
JFYI- My question was about where America`s minds are right now. I`m glad to see any terrorist brought to justice.

  1. Forget War Buy More

Yes, considering that he was tried in a court of law and found guilty. That’s how our justice system works…innocent until proven guilty.

  2. How could he be, he’s been worm food for quite awhile!

  3. YES, he killed innocent men woman and CHILDREN!

  4. Now he is a dead villain.

  5. VOTE THE SMART WAY! VOTE OBAMA!!

HE WAS A TERRORIST AND HE WASN’T A MUSLIM NOR FROM THE MIDDLE EAST!!!

  6. He’s DEAD!

  7. anyone who can even consider that killing innocent people is somehow justified needs to die themselves.

  8. Einstein The Liberal

Basically, it’s sad because whatever the man did, people like him would be discredited because of schizophrenia. The saddest part is the innocent people that died.

  9. No…. because he is dead.

  10. Yep he is to me,,,an
i’ve never really understood why he did that.,,waco i think

  11. No, and it would be ridiculous to even think that they would. Shame on you.

  12. Timothy McVeigh is just a dumber version of Bill Ayers. Bill Ayers is radical but he was smart to try and mainstream himself. He realizes that his philosophy won’t work with the masses but if he can get a small group and have them promote it in the schools and the school system … he may be able to raise more radicals like himself — but make it mainstream.

Fortunately… most people realize that Ayers is not mainstream and should not be rationalized as a mainstream person — he is seen for what he is… a murderer and an extremist.

By the way, Ayers was never acquitted … the wiretaps were never on the search warrant and he got off on a technicality. Ayers even said… “guilty as hell, free as a bird… ”
Bill did the radical, protesting, bombing and killing… now, his attack is more subdued but through our schools (which is actually VERY, VERY scary)

  13. Savage Nation Party

Nope, but he did not act Alone. Stephen Jones his public defender was removed from the case because he has uncovered connections between Terry Nichols and radical Muslims in the Philippines.

  14. He did pay his debt to society, unlike some other terrorists I could mention.
I guess that gets him off the hook.

  15. McCain drives me Insane

You know what his Name is “Mc” Veigh… That, That, That, must mean that John “Mc” Cain is a terrorist too!!!!

That and they are both white!!!

    We have to stop this!!!!!

  16. I am me and no one else

Was he repentant of what he did?….. There are still really raw nerves in Oklahoma over that bombing… and I don’t blame them….

  17. Yes, of course (if he were alive). He killed a lot of people and what drove him to do it was not even remotely mainstream thought—-not like at the end of the Vietnam War when half the population was protesting and wanted to see it end. McVeigh and the Michigan group he belonged to just wanted to live outside the laws of this country—all of them.

  18. If he was around now he be hanging with Obama in the hood, Bro

  19. Yes, he was a terrorist and a scumbag. Anyone who who claims to “understand” what drove him is as much of a terrorist sympathizer as any Muslim extremist.

  20. Kids were “collateral damage” to him. He said it. Screw McVeigh.

  21. Dead men can’t be villains.

  22. Revenge for Wacco and rubie ridge. I’m all for a little cival disobedience but he went way too far.

  23. troopshomebyxmas

Please – he was, is, and will always be a murdering rat puke. Forever.

  24. No, but only because he is dead.

  25. Does not matter he is dead.

  26. He killed 168 people, including 19 children. He was scum. If there is a hell he deserves to be in the hottest part. NOTHING can justify or rationalize what he did. Not in 1995, not in 2008, not ever.

  27. Well, if according to the liberal mind set, Bill Ayers is a sane well adjusted patriotic person, then McVeigh must be a national hero…

You liberals act like just because Ayers was not convicted, he did nothing wrong. Ayers admitted his guilt, said he did not do enough, wished he had done more, and got off on technicality. He could not be re-tried because of the double jeopardy clause of the 5th Amendment.

Ayers is simply a criminal beating the system (aren’t you guys always saying the system exploits innocent victims? This is just Karma working itself out).

  28. Nah, DNA has shown he was related to that famous educator William Ayers. All is forgiven, too bad he’s dead and didn’t get off on a technicality too.

  29. There is NO excuse for murdering innocent people and in the Oklahoma bombing case, innocent children!

Tim had the right to be frustrated, (he was angry with Clinton’s crony Janet Reno, for attacking the Wacko compound for those who aren’t aware.) But he could have used peaceful means to call attention tot he injustice. NOT BLOW UP A BUILDING WHERE INNOCENT PEOPLE DID NOTHING BUT GO TO WORK AND PUT THEIR CHILDREN IN DAYCARE.

I’m only sorry people like Bill Ayers didn’t get the same fate as Timothy and I’m out raged that we have someone running for President who has “rubbed elbows” when convenient with him. That’s all I have to say!

  30. I can agree with his anger at wrongful government. I in no uncertain terms agree with his actions. He should have tried politcs and mending on the inside. There certainly needs to be a lot of new faces in the congress and administration. Without that nothing will change. I agree with McVey the Clinton administration had no right to Waco slayings. Nobody was punished but the goverment was found at fault in a court of law. Clinton’s and Janet Reno got away with murder.

  31. a question has been asked ‘was he repentant’ from what i can gather he received the last rites from a catholic priest, if someone can confirm that

  32. Yes, most certainly.

  33. McVeigh was a domestic terrorist at that time and must have believed in what he was doing or wouldn’t have done such a terrible thing. Unfortunately, he is dead now and we will never have the opportunity to know if he ever changed his mind. There was a number of Americans at that time that agreed with him doing it (Ruby Ridge, Waco, etc.), and I’m sure there are some that still agree with him. However, I don’t think very many. People do get upset with the Government, thus the Civil War. But not many people act on it this day and time. Most, I think, like me, do not believe in killing.
