If his catholicism was a driving force behind the terror attack, I would agree that it would be right to call him a Catholic-terrorist. If not, then calling him a Catholic-terrorist would be just as irrelivent as calling Hasan a brown-eyed-terrorist.
But there is plenty evidence to suggest Islam was at least one of the, if not THE driving force behind the shooting.

Timothy McVeigh considered himself Agnostic. The fort hood guy was muslim and he killed those people becasue he believed it was the muslim thing to do. And I read that witnesses said they heard the Fort Hood guy scream “allahu akbar”
