Too late for Tim, and his Victims, but there are a new generation of Veterans coming home wounded in ways that do not bleed.
Do you think that Massage Therapy is powerful enough to heal PTSD?
Forget about Tim. He’s on death row where he belongs for the rest of his life.
That’s not really the question. I just used his name to get you to open the question.
Now that I have your attention:
I am far more concerned with the Vets returning today who do not welcome homicidal urges, but have been exposed to extreme violence and damaged by it.
HAVE ANY STUDIED SHOWN DAILY MASSAGE FOR A PERIOD OF A MONTH OR MORE TO BE HELPFUL IN PTSD?
HAS ANY SUCH ATTEMPT FAILED?

Nope. Of course not!
No,he already was or had that image of his mind that he wanted power and had no intentions on changing.I have ptsd but, does not being I’m going to blow up a building. He was just a criminal behind the phase of criminal crime.
No. There are two main forms of therapy for PTSD sufferers.
1. Exposure techniques: Having the victim relive the experience in his/her mind to hopefully weaken its effect on them. This is mostly done through writing out the traumatic event that happened and envisioning it over and over in the mind.
2. Cognitive Restructuring: Basically helps you change the way you think about the experience. Reevaluation of the event and realize the initial interpretation may have been inaccurate.
There is no research literature that points to an improvement in PTSD sufferers as a result of massage therapy.
Alot of people have PTSD and very, very few would even consider doing what he did. Massages? ha. He needed 30 bullets thru his skull. p.s. Timothy is six feet under. He’s not on death row. He was executed. Justice has been served…
He didn’t even have PTSD – he was always crazy. He joined the military to satify his urges to hurt people.
