@TheEslperry, August has been exciting times for the solar folks, we just had the largest geomagnetic storm in a while, where are all the earthquakes and volcanoes erupting? Aug 4 was the last time a >6 magnitude quake occurred, a day prior to the storm. The average for >6 seismic event is about 1 every 3 days based on the averages for the last 10 years at the USGS. It’s been 11 days since the last one, we are due, rumor has >7 event is coming, don’t know how they know that.

@TheEslperry, If a dwarf star to can excite sun’s magnetic fields to cause solar flares and CMEs, then everything should do it as well and it should be proportional to gravitational pull of the object. CMEs triggering earthquakes and volcanoes, I don’t know, I have doubts.
@kgunjoem, the trend is changing, for the Earth anyways, more are looking up rather than down for possible causes and triggers but what do the textbooks say? Generally for earthquakes, they are not exactly sure what internal processes trigger them, external sources do not enter the equation. It’s similar with volcanoes, but it seems to me, that magma is really LIQUID rock, wouldn’t that liquid be subject tidal forces like the oceans except maybe on a different geological scale?
@MrSilverwolf420 ~Just where are you getting this information? From what I have researched on “Conventional Scientific sites, celestial bodies cause all sorts of chaos with the Earth and it’s weather patterns. Gravitational pulls on the Earth from celestial bodies can cause major catastrophic disasters. If you’re assumption was correct it would seem to me that if we lost the Moon, nothing bad would happen to the earth…That’s a false assumption.

A dwarf start passing within the gravitational field of the sun can also affect its magnetic field and cause solar storms and CME’s
Conventional science tells us solar flares and CMEs are due to internal processes, thus the sun operates in isolation and is not influenced by the other solar bodies. Similarly with Earth, conventional science tells us earthquakes and volcanoes are triggered due to the Earth’s internal forces only and has nothing to do with celestial objects.
so when will it might erupt
earth will pass through tail of elenin on about 9 November or thereabouts – so that will be a time for asteroids etc
