Timothy McVeigh was inspired by the WWCR shortwave radio broadcasts of the “Patriot for Profit” William Cooper.
Bill Cooper had a trusting voice. He brainwashed many gullible people with his anti-government fearmongering. Cooper was a drunk, a fraud and a liar.
William Copper shot Apache County Sheriff deputy Robert Martinez in the head.
Another deputy returned fire, killing Cooper.
Cooper is still broadcasting from the grave on YouTube.

Seriously, though, I find it hard to believe that the U.S. was in imminent danger when they still haven’t been able to find any sort of completed explosive devices… those would kinda be a ‘requirement’ for an ‘imminent’ threat… at least by my logic.
