I think that Matt and Shayne make a great couple and that they are still together. He picked his “monkey” over the girl in the sexy black nightie. That has to say something, right? There’s more to a good relationship than sexual chemistry. Pet names are a good sign of friendship which I personally think shows that they are comfortable with each other and enjoy each other’s company. I think they make it! Go Matt and Shayne!
In the end, he chose the girl with the highest level of self-esteem! I was turned off by Chelsea going on and on and ON about “what if he doesn’t choose me?” C’mon, you’re on a TV SHOW where everyone has to go except the last girl. The point is, is to enjoy your time with him and SHOW him that you’re the one for him. Chelsea took it so far as to push him away emotionally because of it. So that’s why it was such an obvious choice for Matt.
And I agree, the moment I heard him call Shayne “monkey”, I knew she was the one he would choose.
My prediction…..I think they’ll last about as long as most celebrity couples….couple years.
