QUINCY — It was a routine call for Quincy police about two homeless men fighting. Hussain Al-Hussaini was arrested. The victim was taken to the hospital.
Then came the surprise. Readers commenting on a story about Wednesday’s arrest on The Patriot Ledger’s website noted that a man with the same name was mentioned prominently in a book about the deadly bombing of an Oklahoma City federal building in 1995.
By Thursday afternoon, police had contacted the FBI and spoken to the book’s author.
Jayna Davis, author of the 2004 book “Third Terrorist: The Middle East Connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing,” said she asked a Quincy police detective if Hussain Al-Hussaini, the man police arrested, had a tattoo of an anchor with a snake wrapped around it. He did. Police sent her a photo of him.
“His age, his name, the picture, the mug shot – that’s him,” Davis told The Patriot Ledger via telephone after speaking with police. She said the anchor-and-snake tattoo was common among members of a branch of the Iraqi army under Saddam Hussein.
An FBI spokesman in Boston, Greg Comcowich, said Thursday night that a man named Hussain Al-Hussaini was “thoroughly investigated” in connection with the Oklahoma City bombing and “was found to not have any role whatsoever in the attack on the Murrah Federal Building in 1995.”
Comcowich said the Hussain Al-Hussaini the FBI investigated had been seen with bomber Timothy McVeigh before the April 19, 1995, bombing, which killed 168 people.
“The investigation was closed and the FBI has no further interest in that individual,” he said…..

What do you think?
Thanks (to some of you) guess I should have rephrased the question for the peanut-gallery as *DO you think?* instead of “What do you think?”
I have no opinion on this at all as a matter of fact. That’s why I asked. I thought maybe some of you might know something about this guy. Thanks Gadfly for the research. It’s funny how the lefties Now trust govt so much isn’t it.
@ Scales..that’s what caught my attention when I read “The investigation was closed and the FBI has no further interest in that individual,” he said.
Yeah I hear you #1. A few minutes of looking at the news today is enough to give anyone a headache! Take a double shot and call us in the morning =)
@ Peace: Damn now that you mention it I do remember parts of that. It sure would be nice to see a hearing on this one instead of frigging steroids in baseball.
Thanks

What religion was Timothy McVeigh, David Koresh, Jim Jones?
Conservatives say that Obama acknowledged himself being a Muslim in his book Dreams of My Father. And they were incorrect. And your point is? Conspiracy=Simple solutions for the simple minded. I’ve got a bridge and swamp land in Florida to sell you also. Do you believe me? Why not?
Yes, even OKC was Muslim terrorists- that makes it unanimous!
Koresh, Jones were cultists, not Christians.
McVeigh was a God-hater.
Jim Jones was also a San Francisco Socialist!
It proves you just never know.
The truth will come out if he is guilty or innocent. That is fascinating. The Feds had to check out Tom Clancy about ten years ago, his books were so militarily accurate they became suspicious.
Interesting but I am unsure how his being arrested for fighting relates to the prior investigation.
Perhaps his very existence was being denied previously?
“Is this Iraqi man, likely a member of Unit 999 of the Iraq Intelligence Service, John Doe #2?Jayna Davis was among the first correspondents on the scene of the Oklahoma City bombing. During the past nine years, Jayna has compiled a comprehensive and compelling investigative dossier, which unveils the Middle East’s hand in the Oklahoma bombing. Her new book, below, expertly examines the connections between the Oklahoma City bombing, Iraq, and possibly even Al Qaeda.”

Perhaps if more was known about this connection than was released, it would help explain then Pres. Clinton calling for regime change in Iraq?
No Clinton had plenty of other reasons as he stated three years after Oklahoma City:
President Clinton stated in February 1998:
Iraq admitted, among other things, an offensive biological warfare capability, notably, 5,000 gallons of botulinum, which causes botulism; 2,000 gallons of anthrax; 25 biological-filled Scud warheads; and 157 aerial bombs. And I might say UNSCOM inspectors believe that Iraq has actually greatly understated its production…. Over the past few months, as [the weapons inspectors] have come closer and closer to rooting out Iraq’s remaining nuclear capacity, Saddam has undertaken yet another gambit to thwart their ambitions by imposing debilitating conditions on the inspectors and declaring key sites which have still not been inspected off limits…. It is obvious that there is an attempt here, based on the whole history of this operation since 1991, to protect whatever remains of his capacity to produce weapons of mass destruction, the missiles to deliver them, and the feed stocks necessary to produce them. The UNSCOM inspectors believe that Iraq still has stockpiles of chemical and biological munitions, a small force of Scud-type missiles, and the capacity to restart quickly its production program and build many, many more weapons…. Now, let’s imagine the future. What if he fails to comply and we fail to act, or we take some ambiguous third route, which gives him yet more opportunities to develop this program of weapons of mass destruction and continue to press for the release of the sanctions and continue to ignore the solemn commitments that he made? Well, he will conclude that the international community has lost its will. He will then conclude that he can go right on and do more to rebuild an arsenal of devastating destruction. And some day, some way, I guarantee you he’ll use the arsenal…. President Clinton ~ 1998
Why the thumbs down? It was an honest question.. I must be missing something :/

The oldest mention of him I can find is from 1998 on conspiracy planet…. for whatever that is worth: http://www.conspiracyplanet.com/channel.cfm?channelid=35&contentid=4023&page=2
And this court case he filed in Oklahoma City that was dismissed:
“CJ-95-5761 — Hussain al Hussaini an Individ vs. Palmer Communications in et al; Dismissal W/O Prejudice R: F:.” http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4182/is_19970423/ai_n10108263/pg_2/
One thing about the FBI. Once a case is closed. No matter what evidence is brought
forward, They do not want to hear about it. For as sure as cows shit in the pasture,
evidence could come to the surface that would make them look like they did a piss
poor job. Thus bringing on questioning about other aspects of the case. Which has
happened numerous times to the Bureau. So Since even the drag queens days as
director. No cases are ever reopened that they got a win on.
j Edgar could have starred in the Mel Brooks movie Men in Tights,
My brain hurts.
He sued Davis for the book, claiming slander.
The case was ultimately dismissed on grounds that she affirmatively PROVED what she said about him; things like his status at the time of the bombing as an Iraqi Special Forces agent and his co-conspirator relationship with McVeigh.
If you were paying attention to the news while the building was still smoking, you’ll remember the FBI circulated pics of Al-Hussaini and told the press it was a Middle-Eastern attack until Clinton said it was the Republicans. Since then they’ve denied they ever suspected anyone but McVeigh – until today.
