    Hi Allison,
    That is a tough question. Both are very good fillies, in fact #1 & 2 in the country. Which one is # 1 is the question. Rachel has never run on synthetic surfaces, so a lot would depend on where they run. I know thee is a lot of speculation on which horse would win, but you are comparing two entirely different horses. Zen is older than Rachel, so I don’t know if you could consider more experience a factor or not. On the other hand, Rachel is one fast filly. Don’t know if we will ever see them running together, but I think that is really the only way to ever tell who would actually win.

    RA is a beast and would find a way to win…..I think she is a “once a generation” runner, but I agree with Mr. Jackson’s assessment on not going on a synthetic surface, especially for one race.

    This will def. generate revenue, I’m a bettting man I would put my money on Rachel Alexandra beacuse Zenyatta is the house favorite so to put money on Zenyatta would in essence you’ll lose money simliar to Big Brown and one of the triple crown races when he lost to Da-Tara he was looking at 3:1 favorite which means for every three dollars you put on Big Brown or Zenyatta, you would get a return of a dollar. Going into this historical race if they can make it happen Zenyatta would be the house favorite but Rachel Alexandra she will have anoutstanding chance to win, and not only that but evn if she was to place or show you would still get return Zenyatta on the other hand you just envy the owner because uh she’s perfect.

    Well Rachel Alexandra For 3 reasons
    1) She will be on the front end leaving Zenyatta to chase her down
    2) She will also be spotted 4 or 5 pounds b/c she is 3 and Zenyatta is 5
    3) the race is only 1 1/8 mile so the stretch wouldn’t be that long giving zenyatta and tough task running down Rachel in a short stretch

    BTW Rachel Has run on synthetics at 2 and won so it wouldn’t be that new to her
