    The top female human athletes are smaller, slower and weaker than the top male athletes. That’s not necessarily true of horses.

    for one i dont really know if a horse winning a race is a significant advance for women on the athletic totem. woman are just not as physically strong as men in most cases.

    female/male make up in humans cannot be compared, physically/literally to horses. Rachel Alexandra winning a horse race is what it is. Females (human) can of course do anything they put their minds to, and that is what that is.
