Cheap bachelorette party for a pregnant bachelorette?

The groom is a close friend of my husband and I. I dont think the bride has very many friends so I wanted to throw her a bachelorette party since my husband is throwing a bachelor party for the groom. The catch is she is pregnant. Any ideas of a very cheap gathering were we can still have fun without drinking and partying?!?

  1. milliondollar-playmate

a nice meal out somewhere that would be really good x

  2. Have it on an afternoon, and go to a restaurant. Maybe a hotel restaurant that serves a nice Sunday brunch.

Or, if you wanna go cheaper, have it on an afternoon at someone’s house potluck style.

  3. well if she doesnt have many friends just invite some of yours ask them all to bring something (eatables)
and dress her up in something funny stuff you get around the house
cover her in flour thats always fun throug eggs on her let her dance put potatoes all over her
    make punch etc

  4. How about a spa party? Hold it in a room in a Holiday Inn (nice hotel for cheap), invite a masseuse or a nail groomer (ask others to chip in for tips), someone who does eyebrow waxing. Concoct a virgin colada for everyone and enjoy your day of pampering!

  5. Maybe you can have a girl’s night in at someones house. Make it similar to a sleepover (but I wouldn’t go all night unless that’s what floats your boat) . . . have food, movies, games.

  6. Have a cheap-ish spa day! Go to a day spa to get massages and pedicures, or facials or whatever (deff go for the pedi, being pregnant is hard on the feet). If you have a cosmetology school nearby, they sometimes do servies for very cheap (ours does facials for $20). then maybe go to a restaurant for lunch.

  7. Ideas:
    - spa
    - brunch
    - nice dinner
    - play, concert, symphony
    - pyjama party with snacks and silly movies

  8. how about a picnic in a park, the weather is beautiful so far?or a get together at your house, music for dancing, pregnant people can still dance, maybe remembering back when you were a kid,do silly games ,like the dating game, charades, name that-tune, just fun girls games, or do a mary kay or Avon make over party, the consultants should do it for free, just to see if they can get new clients?she should be able to have wine and play games????but i think the picnic would be fine

  9. maybe lunch at a little cafe and pedicures/manicures

  10. How about a “Tea Room”

    check yellow pages

  11. What you do depends on how pregnant she is. I had a friend that was about 4 mos preggers when she had her bachelorette party and we we out to a club and had fun.

If she is fairly far along, you might want to go somewhere where you will be seated. If she is not too far, then it is really up to yours and her tastes.

  12. I think a cute idea for a bachelorette party for a pregnant bride is having a girls night in. Rent some movies, order in some pizzas, maybe even help her with the wedding like the center pieces and such. I wouldn’t have alcohol there because it might make her feel left out that she can’t drink and it’s her party.
